Ivelisse Lopez, M.D.
Dr. Lopez received her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1995. She performed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. In 2001, she completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas at Houston. Following her fellowship, she moved to Florida where she worked with two other gastroenterology practices before joining AGSA.
Since 2005, Dr. Lopez served as chief of the gastroenterology division at Orlando Regional Medical Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and by the American Board of Gastroenterology. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Gastroenterological Association. She speaks both English and Spanish.
