Garth O. George, MD, FACG
Dr. George received his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies in 1986. He completed his residency in internal medicine, as well as fellowships in hepatology and gastroenterology, at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital and Veteran's Administration, in Miami, Florida.
After completing his fellowships in 1993, Dr. George returned to Grenada and worked at General Hospital in St. George’s, where he served as medical director from 1997 to 2001. He then moved back to the U.S. and joined a gastroenterology practice in North Carolina before moving to Florida and joining Advanced Gastroenterology & Surgery Associates.
Dr. George is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with sub-specialty certification in gastroenterology. He is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG) and a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
