Leslie Mead, APRN

Leslie Mead is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Advanced Gastroenterology and Surgery Associates. She works in collaboration with our physicians in the treatment of patients at our Leesburg and Lady Lake/The Villages locations.

A graduate of Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois, where she earned her bachelor of science in nursing, Leslie graduated from Chamberlin College of Nursing in Naperville, Illinois, with honors in 2016. She worked as a nurse practitioner and managed chronic illness, urgent care issues, and walk-in patients at Inverness Family Care Center and as an APRN with the Department of Corrections in Florida before joining AGSA in 2018.

As a nurse practitioner specialist, Leslie is a licensed medical professional responsible for general patient care. Her duties are similar to that of family doctors in that she can assess, diagnose, and treat medical conditions. She can prescribe medication, order diagnostic testing and lab work, as well as perform certain procedures. She works with patients of all ages.
